Player Ratings allow players with similar skills to play together.

Player Ratings at Pickleball Charlotte are used for many different events including Open Play, Tournaments, Group Play, and more. Although many of our Open Play Sessions and Other Programs require a Pickleball Player Rating, there are other Open Play Sessions and Clinics, Lessons, etc that do not require a specific Player Rating. Once you have a Player Rating, players will be able to register for Events and Programs in CourtReserve that matches their assigned Player Rating.

Can I Add My Name To A Waitlist?2024-05-13T16:54:38+00:00

Some sessions may allow you to sign up for a Waitlist if the session is full. A Credit Card on file is required to be added from the Waitlist to the Open Play Session. Players will be automatically added if an opening comes available before the start of the session. Players should drop themselves from the Waitlist at any time if they do not want to be added. If an Open Play session is FULL, there will be no changes to the roster once the session begins. Therefore, there is no reason for players on a WaitList to show up after a session begins in hopes they will get in.

How Do I Get Started Playing Pickleball At Pickleball Charlotte?2024-02-13T17:36:53+00:00

STEP 1: Visit PickleballCharlotte.com website and learn about Open Play, Training, Court Rentals, Membership Options and read our FAQ section.

STEP 2: Create a player account on our CourtReserve APP. When asked for organization, type “Pickleball Charlotte” and select membership; NON MEMBER.

STEP 3: View all our EVENTS and COURT RENTAL Options on the CourtReserve APP.

NOTES:

If you are new to Pickleball – Consider LEARNING THE GAME by attending one of our Beginner Clinics, Leagues or Events. Click “All Events” on the APP and then type “Beginner” in the search option.  Learn more about all of our Clinics on our Training Page.

If you are wanting to register for an Open Play Session, Click on “EVENTS – Open Play, Blocks, Round Robins”.  You can then narrow your search by using the Filter Options to search for Location, Date, Time, Player Level, etc.

Some of our Open Play Sessions and Programs require a “Player Rating“.  Open Sessions marked as ALL LEVELS do not require a Player Rating.

What Is Pickleball Charlotte’s Cancellation Policy?2024-02-13T17:36:43+00:00

We understand things happen and sometimes you need to change or cancel a reservation for Open Play, Clinics, Court Rentals or other Programs you have registered for. Our CourtReserve system makes it very easy for YOU to cancel many of the things yourself Online on your CourtReserve APP.

Memberships
Paid Memberships automatically renew each month or year, depending on your Membership type. If you need to cancel or change your membership at any time, you can do so yourself online by clicking on “My Membership”. Once a monthly membership type is cancelled, the same membership type cannot be repurchased for at least 6 months.

Open Play & Player Block Sessions
Open Play Sessions and Player Blocks can be cancelled on your CourtReserve APP at any time up to the start of your session. Cancellations made at least 12 hours before the start of your session will receive an automatic full credit to your CourtReserve Online Account. Cancellations made after the 12-hour deadline will not receive an automatic credit. As a norm, there are no credits issued after the deadline except for extenuating circumstances. An email to [email protected] is required if you are wanting us to consider a possible credit or partial credit for cancellations made after the deadline. We review credit request emails each Monday. Please read our “No Shows” section below regarding players not dropping themselves and just not showing up for a session.

Court Rentals
Court Rentals can be cancelled on the CourtReserve system up to 12 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made online up to 12 hours before will receive an automatic full credit to your CourtReserve Online Account. If you need to cancel within the 12-hour window, please EMAIL us at [email protected]. EMAIL is much better than calling as it will provide us a Date and Time Stamp of when you cancelled and will allow you to submit a written reason why you are cancelling after the online deadline. An email is required if you are wanting us to consider a possible credit or partial credit. We review credit request emails each Monday.

Clinics & Lessons
If you need to cancel a Lesson or Clinic, you can do yourself on the CourtReserve system up to 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made online up to 24 hours before will receive an automatic full credit to your CourtReserve Online Account. If you need to cancel within the 24-hour window, please CALL us at 704-583-1444 (Ext 3). If you are wanting us to consider a possible credit or partial credit, you will also need to EMAIL us at [email protected] with more information to why you needed to cancel before the online deadline. Lessons and Clinics rescheduled or cancelled with less than a 24-hour notice may result in a $25 rescheduling / cancellation fee. We review credit request emails each Monday.

Cancellations and No Shows
Excessive Cancellations or “No Shows” may result in loss of membership and access to Pickleball Charlotte future events, rentals and programs. Please be considerate to other players and take the time to withdraw yourself from the session you are not able to attend.

Do You Have A Lost & Found?2024-02-13T17:36:24+00:00

YES, we have a Lost & Found area at all of our locations.

Because of the volume of items “Lost” and the tremendous number of calls we get asking us to stop and go look for items, we ask that if you have left something behind, please EMAIL us at [email protected] with the Date, Time, Location and Description of the item. We will forward your email to our facility manager and if they find your specific item, they will reply to your email by the following day. You are always welcome to come to the location you believe you left your item and look through our Lost & Found bins.

We pick up any items left behind at the end of the night and place them in our Lost & Found Bins. Each bin is labeled with the specific week we picked up the item. We keep items for four weeks before we donate them.

Pickleball Charlotte has a number of pickleball paddles and other equipment and supplies available at our South Charlotte location for you to try out and purchase. Paddles are also available for rent and custom orders can be handled for all the top brands of paddles.

Pickleball Charlotte is the best place to Learn, Perfect and Play Pickleball in Charlotte! Our Pickleball Training Academy and professional staff of instructors are ready to help all players from beginners to advanced levels to improve their game and have more fun playing Pickleball.

Visit our CourtReserve Online System to view the actual dates, times, and availability and to register for a Clinic or Lesson. You can also download the CourtReserve App from the App Store.

Can I Rent An Indoor Or Outdoor Pickleball Court?2024-01-27T10:57:19+00:00

Pickleball Charlotte offers court rentals at all of our locations. All court rentals must be reserved and paid for in advance by the person booking the court(s). The Court Rental cost is based on your membership package, location and date and time. With our online CourtReserve system you will be able to view all court availabilities and the prices for each time and location you are interested in. If you or your group is interested in scheduling a Special Group Event at one of our locations, please fill out our Custom Request Form.

As if Pickleball was not fun enough….Come join us for our out-of-this-world fun!

COSMIC (BLACKLIGHT) PICKLEBALL is the newest fun fad sweeping the nation.

Pickleball Charlotte is excited to host our own COSMIC PICKLEBALL 2-3 times per year.

We have Special Open Play Sessions, Court Rentals and Round Robins for you and your friends and family to have some great fun playing Pickleball in our Blacklight facility where the Courts, Nets, Paddles, Balls and even Yourself will all GLOW with Fun!

We also have lots of Food & Beverage Specials all weekend, so plan to Play, Stay and Enjoy time with Friends and Family for this one of a kind experience.

All sessions will be on our CourtReserve system and require pre-registration.

Is A Membership Required To Play At Pickleball Charlotte?2023-02-08T12:11:30+00:00

A paid membership is not required to participate in activities and programs at any of the Pickleball Charlotte Indoor or Outdoor locations. To register for any Open Play session, or any Program or Activity at Pickleball Charlotte, you must have at least a “Non-Member” membership.

A paid membership allows players to save money on Open Play and Court Rentals. Additional Special Prices and Discounts are also offered throughout the year for certain memberships.

At Pickleball Charlotte we are experts in helping make sure your group has FUN playing Pickleball and enjoys themselves after the games, with some cold drinks, hot food and some stories about how you almost hit that ATP or Erne!

If you cannot find a Lesson or Clinic online that fits your schedule, we will work with you to create a Custom Lesson or Clinic for you or your group.

Just fill out our Custom Request Form and we will do our best to find a convenient date, time and location to play and learn Pickleball.
