Open Play

Registration for Open Play is required. There will be a maximum number of players allowed per each Open Play session to allow all players to maximize their playing time. Open Play sessions are scheduled for 2 to 3 hour blocks of time. Payment is required to register and players should not take the courts until their scheduled session time and should clear the courts at the session end time. Players needing to cancel, may withdrawal their name in CourtReserve at least 2 hours in advance to receive a credit.

If there are 2 Open Play sessions back-to-back Deluxe Members should only sign up for 1 session. Deluxe Members can only sign up for a second Open Play session in a row, if they are doing so less than 48 hours before the scheduled session.

Our CourtReserve system accepts credit cards and account family credit to pay for your Open Play fee. CourtReserve will automatically enter the correct discount based on your current membership level and the location you are signing up for.

All players must follow the normal Pickleball Charlotte Open Play rules and are not allowed to play with the same players all night and “take over” a court. Players wanting to play with their own group on their own court should consider renting a court or two.

Events are similar to open play where players can register and pay for 2-3 hour sessions on DaySmart, but these Special Events will be specific playing formats such as Mini-Tournament, Round Robin, King Of The Court, Challenge Courts, Partner Tourney, etc…
